Bean There Lizzard Koppie Flask 200ml

Lizzard is a South African brand that Cuan Cronje started in 1991, sewing wetsuits in his garage. It has grown into surf gear, streetwear and accessories, including a range of double-walled stainless steel flasks and cups made to replace single-use cups. The Koppie is the 200 ml cup in that range, and this one carries the Bean There logo, laser engraved on the side.

The body is 18/8 stainless steel with two walls and a vacuum between them. The vacuum slows the flow of heat in or out, so a hot drink stays hot and a cold one stays cold, while the outside stays comfortable to hold and doesn't sweat. A powder-coated finish gives a secure grip.

Inside, a ceramic coating sits between the drink and the steel. It keeps a metallic taste out of your coffee, stops one drink's flavour carrying into the next and resists staining. The cup is lead free.

A clear twist-on lid with a flip closure covers the cup while you carry it. At 200 ml it holds a flat white or a cappuccino, or a filter coffee from a V60, AeroPress or French press.

Lizzard recommends washing the cup and lid by hand in warm water with a mild dish soap, then drying with a cloth. The seal ring in the lid lifts out for cleaning. The Koppie comes in black or cream.
