It keeps everything home baristas loved about the Basic 2.0, including side and front power buttons and engraved controls, while adding smarter brewing tools in a slimmer, lighter body. At 300 g and just 2 cm thick, it is around 23% lighter than its predecessor and fits neatly on any drip tray or brew station.

Three modes cover every way you brew. In Espresso and Pour-Over modes the scale tares automatically when you place your cup or server, then starts the timer the moment flow begins, keeping your workflow hands free. A real-time ratio display shows your coffee to water ratio as you pour, and a flow rate indicator helps you control pouring speed, so there is no need for a calculator mid-brew.

Weighing in 0.1 g increments up to 2 kg, the Basic 3.0 responds almost instantly, and an electromagnetic shield blocks interference from magnetic catch cups and nearby electronics for steadier readings. The matte black surface resists reflections, scratches, water marks and fingerprints, while the hidden LED display stays clear even in bright light.

A dual-function silicone pad protects the scale from heat and spills and flips over to cradle your portafilter when weighing a dry dose. The 1600 mAh battery gives up to 24 hours of continual use and recharges fully in about 3.5 hours via USB-C. Consistent recipes mean better coffee and less waste, and the Basic 3.0 makes getting them right every time effortless.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0891/6965/8149/files/1200x1200-Timemore-Black-Mirror-Scale-3-Black-1.webp?v=1790376083
